Well, if someone's going to die on you if you don't do something drastic, I doubt whether anyone would care if you had a medical degree or not. Just punch a hole in the guy's throat already. What's he gonna do, sue you?

That was a pretty stupid comment by that doctor about "don't try this at home." The alternative is that the person dies so, yes, do try this at home. It just goes to show that people are so conditioned to think about liability that they automatically provide a warning with everything, even when it doesn't make sense.
