Sid quit being an apologist for this franchise, def line has been horrible, allen is non existent, offensive line is horrible, Linebacker are average at best, running game is sluggish (partly because of the offensive line). And last this coaching staff may be the worst in the league, and if it were not for the les Steckel years, is the worst in franchise history. they don't plan well, they don't make adjustments at the half, let alone during the game

"Injuries in secondary were costly to Vikings" . Sid's alternate excuse! . "Poor officiating costly to Vikings" is his other excuse!

I would be interested in your candid assessment of the coaching staff and the game plans we have seen to date.

Harrison Smith is correct, it is his fault. He failed to cover the tight end. The queens lost, end of story.

ddferrari66Sep. 22, 13 9:29 PM

Yes, let's all attack Sid- after all, it's his fault the Vikings lost. Or better yet, get your own column and then you can write whatever you want.

cmj826Sep. 22, 13 9:31 PM

No, Spielman, Frazier and Ponder are costly to the Vikings.

walker8084Sep. 22, 13 9:36 PM

I don't see how injuries in the secondary were costly when Sherels played better than Chris Cook ever has and Sendejo did look any worse that Sanford. Its more that no unit on the team can play consistently throughout a single game.

Sid, you are part of the problem. You never report objectively, never get on the locals when they have it coming and you have already forgotten about the article you wrote about the other day that scorched the Browns. You must be watching a different Viking team than the rest of us!

dunwoody64Sep. 22, 1310:16 PM

Frazier isn't head coach material. He's committed to Plunder which defies logic. At least we won't have to deal with Frazier or Plunder next year. The losses will define the future. Why did the Vikings pick up Cassel if they never intend to use him!!!

So funny to read the pathetic comments and agonizing. Grow up people. It is a game, nothing more or less and the players, coaches and writers couldn't care less about your whining and hand wringing. This is just hits on the website. Don't you understand you can complain all you want and no one cares! Watch the Lynx and Gophers if you want to see players that care.
