Yes, luck has been involved, but his stands from Iran to Syria are paying off.

"When he visits the United Nations next week, he might very well find himself shaking hands with the president of Iran."...I should hope he does.

The one reason everyone wants to make a deal with Obama is they now know he is a pushover and will "give away the house".

Seriously? Has Iran skipped a beat in development of nuclear weapons over the past five years? Has the obviously frightened Assad stopped his rampage that has killed over 100,000 of his own people (now that he and Putin have a basic deal that prevents us from taking Assad to the Hague for a war crimes trial)? Well at least the Chinese are scared of President Toughness. This is almost like saying health care costs are down because they haven't gone up as much as earlier predicted. This article reads like something in the Pyong Yang People's Daily.

I believe that it was the intense opposition vented by the citizens of the USA in town meetings, etc, that made the president go to congress before initiating military action. It seems to have worked.

Well that's definitely a positive opinion. I'd say he's done very little to show he's anything other than a nervous yes man.

Syria made the US look as weak as we have since Jimmy Crater. This man has no clue what he is doing. On one hand he attacks Libya without consulting congress. Then he is about to attack Syria, but hold back when the US greatest ally decides to not join them. He may go down as the worst president of our lifetime. He is simply Pelosi's puppet.

"Yes, luck has been involved, but his stands from Iran to Syria are paying off." Opinion masquerading as fact from another Obama supporter in the media. "Toughness"? Interesting choice of words to make the messiah look strong. "Obama has crippled the Iranian economy by organizing some of the harshest sanctions imaginable..." No, he has not. Those sanctions were in place long before Obama came along and they did not do any good then and are not doing any good now. The new leader of Iran is less much less radical than his predecessor and that is the ONLY reason Iran is less defiant than it used to be, not anything Obama has done. For 4.5 years the media has been telling us the job market is getting better when it wasn't. Now the media is telling us that Obama is changing the world through his "toughness". Ridiculous.

Tough? All he does is apologize and blame. Iran hasn't stopped anything. N. Korea is testing missiles. Syria? What has he done? Patriot Act you liberals are so against? He's expanded it.
