Twins rally doesn't hold up in 8-6 loss to Oakland

The Twins tried to slow Oakland’s roll, but the hosts got a two-run homer from Coco Crisp in the eighth inning and took an 8-6 victory, dropping that magic number to four.

Build the A's a new stadium and imagine how competitive they cold be...

Come on, don't play Mauer again this year. And don't pretend that you need to just to avoid criticism. More Twins unexplainable general management. Ryan had a great run here in the past but please, blow up the entire coaching and general management and let's start over.

My wife was listening to the game and I suddenly realized that this is the most disengaged from the Twins I've ever been, and I was here when they moved here. I've forgotten all about them. We did go to a couple of games when the stadium was new. Considering the attendance actually means attending, not just buying a seat, what has the true attendance been this year?

Willy, You may be assuming that the Pohlads can find a better management team. Remember the last time they replaced the GM? Billy Smith. They have the same group of advisers as then. They will not make a better decision. Let the phenoms develop and we can have hope next year.

another guy Callayspo was there for the taking 3 years ago...and did Terry bite? of course not...a do nothing GM equals a go nowhere team and for the information of the nonOakland people...I was there and it's not the facility but the location that makes it no appealing to go to an A's game heck when they/the A's were winning three World Championships in a row..noone was going then either..

Stanbob had the best line yet...it's not about the facilities...are you taking note Sir Sid? it's about the quality of the team on the FIELD...and boy has this organization lacked that...three straight years of 90+ losses equals a "BLOW UP"

Seems like whenever a Twins hitter gets hot, as rarely as it is, Gardy plugs them into the three-hole (or cleanup spot) and they crumble like dried up Play Doh. Reusse was correct. This club is the biggest piece of trash in team history. Team MVP can barely keep his average above the .240 mark!

I hate this team and organization so much. They've allowed it to train wreck and don't seem to care. I used to watch the end of nearly every game and attend a dozen or so....I have zero interest after the past 3 seasons. Call me a bandwagon fan....fine. I have only so much free time and this excrement they keep trotting out doesn't deserve my limited attention.

That TCF Bank boondoggle sure helped the Gopher football team rise above the pack. Expect the same result from the Vikings when Wilfy World or whatever is ready for play.
