Mr. Prusak - Your exceptional kindness done that day will always be in your heart. Please keep on doing good works, not for recognition, but just because you feel a need do give. This not only improves our world one act at a time, it infects others with a good thing.

THANK YOU. My father has macular degeneration and could easily have been in this situation. It is indeed a shame we can't see video of this particular "transaction" and find out who the opportunistic soul behind him was.

I hope someone knows the name of this woman and goes public with her identity....such utterly shameful and disgusting behavior for a $20 bill! Since it was witnessed, can't it be charged as a crime of theft?

What a sweet story and a sweet kid. I hope that woman gets what's coming to her. Karma is one tough customer.

Another media site reported that Prusak was the store manager. The guy is only 19! Now I know why he was made the manager. I hope this act of kindness comes back to you a thousand fold.

All well and good on the part of this young chap. But the police, not karma, should have been called upon.

Great to see this story. There will always be people out there such as the woman who stole the $20, but for every one of those people there are many more that would never even contemplate doing such a thing. Bravo to this young man for confronting the thief and then sacrificing his own money for the benefit of someone unable to defend himself.
