I am so glad that they got the medals back. I dislike the wink and the the birdie...but am still thankful. Best wishes...

The thief who stole those heirlooms did not care about history. Have some respect for what the Bataan Death March soldiers endured.

Unbelievable story and so grateful to this young man for making the only possible gesture that he could to make his wrong right. Everyone is so quick to crucify people for their mistakes and yet here is a prime story of someone trying to make things as right as they possibly can. People make mistakes. Second chances make it possible for us to address those mistakes and become better people for it. Rehabilitation is possible...ask any recovering addict or alcoholic who has turned their life around! Last time I looked we were all FAR from perfect.
