Yes, Mr. Greenway, we don't know what is being coached. However, I doubt they are coaching you to follow three steps behind every receiver you cover.

Great point bear_32. Chad's not been anywhere near the guys he's trying to cover in their ridiculous zone coverages, or man coverages. There was a play last sunday where Greenway lined up across from 6'6" Martellus Bennet. Bennet was Greenway's man. About 2 yards from the line of scrimmage while Greenway had him tied up Bennet put an out route move on him and Greenway was suddenly five yards behind him. It's Bennet! We're not talking about Devon Hester here. Also, Greenway looked ridiculous on a juke move by Reggie Bush in week 1, never even touched him. Okay, it's Bush. Forte did the exact same thing to him on Sunday. YIKES.

This coaching staff is awful this season. Contrast that to Oakland. They do not have much talent on that team. What they have is a fine group of coaches. Coaching the players up. Why on earth is Bishop not playing! He is likely the best linebacker on the team. Two snaps in two games! Bishop is a beast. He needs to be on the field. The coaching clowns have cost the team two games already.

I would agree with Greenway's comment. Yes he has missed a few tackles. Remember that this guy has been in the top 3 in tackles, in the league, since his 2nd season. I read Frazier's comment about Greenway trying to do to much. That he has to trust the other LB's to make their own plays. The trouble is, Henderson, and Mitchell, don't seem to ever be in the right place before the snap. The last time Greenway was on the field with LB's that he could trust was when the Team had Henderson, and Leber. Mitchell, and Henderson are not close to this caliber of skill, or experience. The play of his fellow LB's has not warrented any trust, to say the least. GO VIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Boy, some pretty condescending comments from a SoDak kid. I think I'm more disappointed in that than anything.

Greenway is stuck on an island; he can't and shouldn't trust his fellow linebackers. Mitchell is terrible as a starter and Erin needs to be put back at strong side. Maybe even try some of younger guys, they can't be any worse than Mitchell. I feel sorry for Chad. Poor coaching is the problem, folks.

It's impossible for an outsider to know how a player is performing? Chad, Stevie Wonder could see that your first two games have been awful. The only reason you have just missed 3 tackles is because your angle has been so bad on the other 47 that you didn't get close enough to miss.

I said it before.Greenway is not that good. He never gets tackles at or even around the line of scrimmage on run plays, because he cant get off a block and gets taken way to easily out of the play. And besides that he could not cover me 5 years ago, and he sure as heck couldn't cover me now.

John Carlson and Marvin Mitchell tied in tackles last week with 2 each, Is Carlson making too many or is Mitchell missing in action, The answer is yes.

Seems like Greenway can't even make his own plays this year, much less help out the other LB's.
