"Sidesteps"? Did Souhan write this negative spin headline? Enough already, let the man do his job - let's judge him by his results. Time will tell if he is a good coach, but don't judge him on his health issues.

Softballs. The entire press conference should have discusse his health and what he was going to do about it.

safety Brock Vereen said, “As players, we’re really not reacting to it. We have a huge game this week [against San Jose State], and any attention taken away from that can hurt us Saturday.

The other coaches in the Big Ten are highly supportive of Kill to continue coaching the Gophers. Kill's health issues make recruiting a kid for four to five years here with the threat of sitting out a year if the Kill has to leave a real problem.

Unfortunately, I thing hjlazni has it about right. Recruiting cannot, I repeat, CANNOT, be optimal with this situation. Thus, the program is vulnerable and it's unacceptable. Coach Kill has done his level best and clearly is improving this team, but the medical trend is not our friend here, folks. One more of these sideline seizures during a game should be the final signal to Coach that it's time to do what's best for him, and also for the U of M football program. Find a way to keep the staff if at all possible. They're great coaches and their loyalty is second to none. Ski U Mah!
