Dayton still seems surprised that seat licenses are going to be used to pay a significant part of the Wilf's contribution, which means he was either sleeping during stadium negotiations or is lying about being surprised about it now. And I don't think the state can demand a change to a signed deal unless the Wilfs somehow violate the contract.

"But in his letter Monday, Dayton expressed concern that the Vikings’ owners could raise so much money off seat license fees and naming rights that very little of their own money would go into the project." Er, wasn't all that in the legislation? Din't he sign it?

Can you change the law that was passed after it was passed?

If the Wilfs want to build it with our money then we won't have enough money left to buy tickets. Right?

Because Mark Dayton, Himself, agreed to this deal, I think that it would only be "Fair" for him to contribute some of his own money to the deal. Instead of bashing the Wilfs, maybe he should consider matching their very generous contribution to the new Vikings stadium.

This deal was bad enough before, but now that Wilf is a convicted fraudster, it is completely irresponsible for ANY public money to be spent building a stadium for him. Cancel the deal!

How about they pay for ALL of it, since they stand to reap ALL of the profit?

What a rouse! Of course the Wilfs are going to see PSLs for absolutely as much as the purple faithful are willing to pay. And of course they are going to use that money to "pay their contribution" toward stadium construction. So what if they use other money for their contribution and put the PSL money in their wallets? What's the difference? Don't get me wrong, it's a sweetheart deal for the Wilfs, but the governor acting like he just realized this fact is ridiculous.
