I agree with Teague. From what is reported in the media Kill is a whole lot bigger than just Saturdays. Not sure I would have the guts to go out on the field every game and have to worry that I could have a health issue in front of fans, team and TV audience. Shows a lot of character for doing that.

The more I learn about Coach Kill, the more I root for him. I sincerely hope he is the man that will lead the Gopher football program back to national prominence.

If anyone desires to support Kill they need to accept his serious illness and provide a path to leave with great dignity. The pressure and applause for his desire to coach is creating a gladiator style spectacle. Extra camera should be ordered by Teague to record the final seizure.

I support Coach Kill. However, paid administrators like Teague should be more realistic or more honest. To say Kill's health situation does not impact recruiting is ridiculous. Uncertainty causes concern for recruits who are committing for 4 years. His health condition creates uncertainty for this year, much less the future. The more honest answer is that it might hurt recruiting, but we choose to stick with him because we believe he's still a huge benefit to the program.

"If anyone desires to support Kill they need to accept his serious illness and provide a path to leave with great dignity" - His supporters do know how serious his illness is and if and when Coach Kill, his wife and doctors feels he can no longer do his job, we will gladly give him the all the support he needs then as well.

Mr. Doyle is another sportswriter who thinks he's a doctor. Stick to what you know.

The only thing D1 about this program is the salaries that the people that run it make

‘Is he performing competently? " Obviously Not if he is laying in a hospital while the game is being played. Watching your head coach writhing on the ground in the middle of a game is more than a distraction, it is a problem we can't ignore. Despite the millions we are paying Jerry is it really worth it to him to risk his life for a game? He is not the only coach in the world capable of doing the job. At least he should be up in the box out of harms way and let one of his assistants control the sideline.
