War! There is not good reason for war. We should protect our borders and mind our own business. It's impossible to police the world in the end we always come out the bad guy. When two people are fighting the person who intervenes is the one who gets chastised. The UN is a joke and we should disband it immediately. When we have diplomacy it can still be done by a matter of who carries the big stick. When a tyrant takes over a country, which has happen since the beginning of time, all support from surrounding regions usually takes care of that problem, it doesn't go on forever. With world wide news coverage it would be hard for any nation to try and control the world; it just doesn't work. Heaven forbid if it did. Please live and let live and we have to stay out of all these conflicts throughout the world it has shown it weakens us abroad and at home.

Given the fact that the nature of the conflict and the actors on the rebel side have changed dramatically, it makes sense that the situation will be complicated. If being in disarray means we just avoided another war, that's good news.

No one is surprised that Obama's strategy is in "disarray"...Nothing this administration has done since his first election had been in "array" and no one expects any changes for the better for this lame duck!

If his actions have been a "failure" to some of you, just how did he get re-elected. And, what are his approval ratings? Also, how can there be a meaningful strategy when you are dealing with a region that has always been in disarray. Why beat around the bush, your right-wingers, just come out and state clearly that you lack objectivity and that you hate the man.

How did he get re-elected? Well by the same people who voted to elect a failed former one term Senator. A self proclaimed alcoholic with a history of mental health issues to govern our state. There are record numbers of people receiving entitlements.....would you fire the person responsible for giving you free money? Obama is in office because there are far more stupid people voting than people who actually understood what a failure this community activist would be. Its really quite simple if you have been paying attention. The real question is will America survive this disaster, and that is yet to be determined.

Poll: Obama’s approval rating on economy drops to 35 percent By Mario Trujillo - 08/15/13 07:19 AM ET A new poll finds President Obama’s approval rating on the economy dropping to 35 percent, even as he travels across the country delivering policy speeches and pushing proposals to boost job growth and investment. The survey from Gallup, released Thursday, finds a 7-point drop in support for Obama’s handling of economic issues, down from 42 percent in June. His rating on taxes and the deficit also dropped 5 points from last month’s poll. Thirty-six percent approve of Obama’s handling of tax issues, and 26 percent approve of his approach to the deficit. Gallup noted that Obama’s ratings on the economy fell alongside a slide in Americans’ overall economic confidence over the same period. The president’s overall approval dropped 3 points to 44 percent.

You people who cannot see the good that Obama has done are the sore losers who still won't admit that your guy lost the election and are still watching too much Fox and drinking the Tea Party koolaid. Your party has lowered itself into the gutter by breaking our political system that has always been based on compromise and have done the U.S. tremendous harm by continually creating one crisis after another. The Republicans/Tea Partiers are in disarray and some of their leaders should be charged with treason. No American President, no person on earth has the capability of controlling what goes on in these uncivilized, savage countries. Your party has sealed its fate as an irrelevant, out of control extremist entity that is doomed.
