Twins shut out by Rays, and it gets tougher from here

The Twins couldn’t do much against Chris Archer, and it doesn’t get easier with Matt Moore and David Price up next.

"spiraling"? oh not it's there...and this Yankee fan thanks the Twins for NOT helping them out...boy what an organization Tampa Bay has become...yeh they've been to the "Series" since the Twins...and have been competative for most of the last 10 years...10 years...Maddon is three times the manager Gardy is or hopes to be...what a difference in organizations...maybe Twins should do it the Ray Way? yeh watch all the thumbs down I get for that comment..

IT would be really nice if the twins actually gave a crap when they played.I dont think they could look any worse than they did tonight pretty bad.

When the pitching is decent, such as tonight, the offense and fielding cancel it out. Not a happy formula.

The All Star Game next year will be amazing - a game at Target Field that the Twins can't lose!!

83 down and 7 to go to once again reach the true measure of Gardenhire excellence...the third, yes, the third 90 loss season in a row. 99 in '11, 96 in '12 and 90 something this year...And there re a few, who are in significant denial obviously, who will defend a team whose only apparent talent is losing.

Eleven strikeouts by your Double AA Minnesota teams against the Rays. Just a few more games to go to reach the 90-loss level for the third year in a row, a mark that is out of the reach of most legitimate major league teams. Just think how many losses your Minnesota Twins would have if they were not the competitive team promised fans by the owners as soon as the new stadium was built that increased the value of their franchise. Promises made and promises kept...perhaps, in 2-3 years or 4 years (seven years after the stadium came on line) if everything goes okay and the fans stop coming to the games but other than that...

I've been in the Tampa area since Wednesday and had to laugh at the local sports radio commenting on the break the Rays were going to get by playing at Target Field this weekend. Way to battle, Twins. Putting out your best effort against the play off contenders. You owe it to them.

The way the organization spits in the face of fans is surreal. Parallel universe territory. I can't believe people wear Twins gear and actually pay to go into TF.
