This article was not about a kids game, the teams or the individual players really. It was a corporate prospectus of effective marketing of a product. We should just pay every player from Pop Warner on up. We are such a weird culture.

Star57: Actually "whet your appetite" is the correct spelling and the correct phrase. "whet" means to sharpen, hone, stimulate, etc.
