Feral cats? Let me tell you about our feral crows. They sit on the fence and yell at people.

I hope you washed your hands afterward. That crow likely had West Nile Virus.

When you feed animals the next thing they want to do is relieve themselves. My herb garden is less than 50 feet away from the front steps of a kindhearted neighbor lady who has collected several feral cats to feed (and harbor) on her front steps. Take a guess where their first potty stop is? Right, now imagine a nice warm day and what do you think my side steps smell like. Looking for ideas on how to discourage them from stopping. I can have her ticketed in my municipality, but have chosen the route of catching them and turning them over to animal control at this point. Bottom line, think twice before you start feeding stray cats or decide to dump one off when you no longer want it as a pet.
