Unfortunately, this story doesn't even get a rise out of me. Sounds like just another day at the office for Republicans.

Of all the days to bring this up! Why can't they be civil & not denigrate the memories of the victims of that horrible day in 2011! Of the courageous acts of those who went back in to help those still in the buildings the repub's besmirch their memory with complete disdain!

There should be a law that would disband the democrat and republican parties.

What's really nauseating and pathetic is I wasn't aware of 99% of what this person is whining about until this piece was written which for me, tarnishes my memory of 9/11 because outside of work I spent the evening watching programs about that day and remembering those that were killed. Just more hate pointing out hate. Thanks, Dana Milbank, for being just as bad as those you chose to chastise.

As usual in Washington, politics trumps patriotism, morality, and decency.

Yes, its a very old Demorat trick to use bad events to trumpet a political agenda. If they sick to the level of the Rats I'll go Libertarian next year.

So what's new? Cons have been using 9/11 and the death of almost 3000 as political capital from day one. They are shameless.

Big effin' deal. We all know that politics doesn't get put on hold for much of anything and both sides always claim that the other side's transgressions are more egregious than their own. Nothing to see here...

Repubs are still whining about Benghazie? What's next, are you going to trot out Ken Star again in an attempt to smear Obama? If you guys are really interested in a conspiracy why not dig into the evidence that Dick Cheney used to start the Iraq war. That smelled from the beginning.
