It would be wonderful if her declaration of retirement from her current position, (I won't say job because she hasn't worked for anyone but herself and as such hasn't done the "job" that she was elected to perform), was permanent for any political job including media jobs as a so called expert. Her greatest expertise has been in opening mouth and inserting foot. Her response to any conflict or critism is that it's someone else's fault. When will this woman leave our lives, I can hardly wait till she's gone!

It's all Obama's fault.

Did anyone catch The Daily Show. They showed Bachmann, Gohmert and Steve king on a diplomatic mission to Egypt. So embarrassing.

Yes, and that would be the bipartisan House Ethics Committee conducting the investigation. Bipartisan, for those who may not already know, means that members of both major American political parties are involved.

Everyone knows that Shelly is perfect and these "investigations" are simply just a Socialist Muslim liberal media plot to take down the most effective member of Congress in history!

Dems shouldn't be in a hurry to bury MB. She's a great negative GOP cardboard cutout and will continue to be a GOP embarrassment as long as she's blurting nonsense. She'll end up on the Tea Party speaker circuit as a Palin copy cat.

"...that would be the bipartisan House Ethics Committee conducting the investigation. Bipartisan, for those who may not already know, means that members of both major American political parties are involved."

An excellent observation.

Additionally, as the Republican Party holds a majority in the House of Representatives at this time, the Chairman of this committee is a member of the Republican Party. The Ethics Committee is unique among Congressional committees in that the Majority party does not have a majority of members on this committee, as it does on all other committees. But still there is a great deal of power in the Chairmanship of the committee, and the Chairman is a Republican Representative from Texas.

I'm shocked that an investigation hasn't happened sooner. Her staff have not only violated campaign ethics but are the most immature campaign workers I've ever encountered. Believe it or not you can find them littered on the internet spewing hate about the President and other African Americans. Her staff has Facebook pages of a host of racially insensitive posts that show no patriotism whatsoever and absolute cultural ignorance. Her website has virtually no content within it. Her plan for the country amounts to a couple brief paragraphs of criticisms about the President. The only record of any Health Insurance initiatives for the State of Minnesota is sponsoring a bill to limit the Affordable Care Act. She is better off denouncing her United States citizenship like the other extreme grass root conservative groups do.
