Glad to hear that Simpson is doing the right thing off the field , as well as on. After last season, fans were ready to run him out of town. I supported his re-signing. I just could not believe that he was as bad as he showed last year. To be honest, he was the only bright spot on the Offense. If he can play anything near to the way he played at Detroit, he will be a great asset to the team. Keep going forward Jerome. GO VIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe simpson wouldn't feel so restricted if he didn't have ILLEGAL DRUGS shipped to his house.

1. Good for Simpson. 2. Mauer will go to 1st base next year. How do I know? Ryan said he never heard the team talk about it. That's a dead giveaway. Only everyone in the state has been talking about it. It would help his hitting and prolong his career by several years.

Perhaps I read too much into the Simpson quote, but it sounded like he felt the weekly required drug tests were to much to comply with. I dont know if Simpson was trying to get people to feel sorry for him, but he should feel lucky that it is all he is required to do.

Simpson would look a lot better if Ponder delivered his passes to him on time and target, instead of behind or over or most often late and under thrown.

I would be ok with Mauer not coming back this season, and if he does, he shouldn't catch. Why risk more concussions when the season is long past lost?

Simpson on Ponder..."He's great" at what is he great at? If Ponder had thrown the ball like most NFL QB's can you would have walked into the endzone for a TD instead of having to make a full body diving catch for it. This team has adequate receivers now so that excuse about not having the weapons to throw to isn't going to cut it anymore.
