Thank you Bruce for a dose of reality! You are spot on regarding all the misinformation provided to the public from Henson and Campbell. There are other areas where the MOA can save money and that is in the salaries of Henson and top management. They need to take the same pay cut that they are requesting of musicians.

Minnesotans must be tired of this antagonistic conflict over one of their community’s most admired assets. ---- in who's opinion? A couple of thousand people?

Bruce Ridge of Raleigh, N.C., is chairman, International Conference of Symphony and Opera Musicians. ----- In other words, Mr. Ridge has a vested financial interest in seeing that all musicians be paid top dollar.

If we deserve the facts then stop having offers that are confidential. Give us the facts. Step up and publish your offer...and by your example force the other side to do the same or not. (Personally I think the symphony and chamber music should merge - this would reduce managerial and other expenses and consolidate fund raising monies).

It's completely embarrassing that the board chair of the Minnesota Orchestra has such a tenuous grip on reality.

There will be no deal until Venska is gone. Let's face it, he is too expensive. When he leaves, there will be a deal in less than a month. The board will see to his departure.

The Minnesota Orchestra is one of the only winning teams we have. Please bring back the music and end this embarrassment.

The musicians put on 18 free community concerts this year while the management spent $13.7 million and didn't produce a single concert.

When Henson resigns, the impasse will be resolved within a month. Mark my words.

Questions? How come there are no African Americans in the Mn Orchestra? Do the Arts have an Affirmative Action exception? If Orcheresta Hall is such a great place for music, the management should rent it out for upcomming concerts, Drake, Lil Wayne, JayZ Kanye West would all pack the house!
