Wild brings in veteran center Steckel for training camp tryout

The veteran is strong on faceoffs and could end up giving the team depth in the middle.

LOL. He's strong on face-offs. Is that what it's come to here, Michael? Really? This organization is desperate for goal scoring--I mean downright desperate--and we're celebrating the fact that we have yet another stiff up-front but one that might win a face-off or two? Great, he wins the face off. Then what? He watches his other linemates dump it in and chase it, or better yet, he watches them turn it over and shift into backchecking mode? Nice. Good acquisition. Gonna be a banner year.
