LAKE MARY, Fla. — The sobbing wife of George Zimmerman called 911 on Monday to report that her estranged husband was threatening her with a gun and had punched her father in the nose, but hours later she decided not to press charges against the man acquitted of all charges for fatally shooting Trayvon Martin.

Karma comes home to roost.

Anybody get the feeling Shellie is going to make George pay, literally and figuratively, for the whole perjury thing? Shellie sure looks like she's aiming to do what the Florida courts couldn't do; make George's life a living h-e-double hockey sticks!

Leave the poor guy alone. Hasn't he been through enough. The press, not the court, found him guilty as charged. Remember, he was getting his head bashed in by a racist, gang-banging thug. I would imagine there were marital problems before the shooting.

Doesn’t the gun safety handbook state that a responsible gun owner is one who uses their weapon only when there is a reasonably life threatening condition to their physical well being?

So does someone see a pattern here or is it just me? Acquitted of murder with a handgun and then threatens wife with a gun? Hmm....perhaps the jury got it wrong.

Maybe this time, maybe people should avoid jumping to conclusions. An acrimonious divorce is a messy affair, and for various reasons either partner might make false allegations against the other in order to improve their standing in the settlement process. It's worth noting that Sheila Zimmerman has been publicly outspoken about the divorce and critical of her husband. Why do you think she did that? Even celebrities will try to keep their divorce proceedings private, yet she wants to smear her and her husbands dirty laundry the media? George, on the other hand, has chosen to remain quite. That's a more respectable way to handle this, and for my part, it has earned him the benefit of my doubt with regards to his wife's accusations.

Good grief, how many times is this man allowed to pull a gun on unarmed citizens? How many times is he going to be defended by people so blinded by their pro-gun stance that they have lost any sense for nuance and reality. It boggles the mind that Zimmerman would also - yet again - describe the other person as the aggressor. This man has a mental problem and the last thing he needs to be carrying around is a weapon.

Love the irony.

Five words for y'all. NOT GUILTY ON ALL COUNTS. Nothing will ever change the fact that Mr. Zimmerman successfully defeated the bogus, trumped up, politcally and racially motivated charges that were brought against him. Even O.J. Simpson never had to daal with the amount of crap Mr. Zimmerman has had to put up with and OJ was actually guilty of killing TWO people.
