AP poll finds Americans fear strike on Syria would lead to long-term commitment of US forces

WASHINGTON — A new Associated Press poll shows a majority of Americans oppose a U.S. strike on Syria, despite a weeks-long Obama administration campaign to respond to chemical weapons attacks the U.S. blames on President Bashar Assad's regime.

With $16 trillion debt, I would hope congress and senate would focus on creating jobs and economy not one more adventure in the middle east. We are not the world police. This is not about Democrat or Republican. We just should not be going in there. Once a war is started it is not up to us to keep it "limited". All Syria needs to do is bomb Israel or have Hezbollah do the job.
