The "Twins" will decide if Deduno will have surgery or not? I thought that was up to Sam?

"Here Comes the Cavalry." If this is the cavalry, next season should be another long one indeed.

Who cares? This team isn't worth a thought.

Since this is the TWINS, they will decide to go the re-hab route and then in March decide he needs surgery.

Wait, we're bringing up another Catcher from AAA? Fryer, Pinto, Herrmann and Doumit. We now have 4 catchers on the roster, and that's assuming Mauer is shut down for the season. What is with Gardy's obsession with Catchers?

"Here Comes the Cavalry." This is like waiting for a couple of lame horses and glue factory candidates come loping over the hill only to have them collapse from exhaustion when they reach the front lines. Too bad on Deduno - probably heading for TJ surgery given the Twins medics...

the frequency of blown out arms seems to indicate some sort of problem with training, coaching, or conditioning in the organization. Not only does every pitcher called up get worse, they also get injured. However, "stat the course" boys!

I am really being serious here, but name just one thing that has gone right for the Twins since they fired Wally The Beer Man. Honestly, this franchise went right in the toilet the day that happened and it hasn't stopped. The Curse is on!

Has the twinks 100 pitch limit for starting pitchers shown any success? Deduno is just the latest example of another arm malady incurred while under the strict limits imposed by the twinkies management. Maybe it is just me but I sure don't see a starting staff that has been durable, healthy and full of energy late in the season because they have been ushered off the mound at 100 pitches thrown. All I see is a bullpen that starts to fizzle out because they have to cover for starters have thrown their 100 pitches sometime around the 4th inning.
