Conn. home invasion killer: 'I just snapped,' says no one was supposed to get hurt

SOMERS, Conn. — A man convicted in the brutal home invasion killings of a Connecticut woman and her two daughters in 2007 said no one was supposed to get hurt and he "just snapped" before he and an accomplice set fire to the house.

Pull the switch (or inject whatever), and hurry. Why we let these 'people' live for years and pay for their incarceration and legal fees is beyond me.

In our legal system it's actually more expensive to give someone the death penalty than it is to give them life in prison. I think these two should spend the rest of their lives locked up. A quick death is too good for them.

mylittleid, it's more expensive because of the appeals process. People live on death row for 20 years with lawyers and federal/state workers dealing with their appeals. A quick execution right after their confessions and subsequent convictions would cost almost nothing.
