The Obama administrations entire rationale for war is full of holes. Investigative reporter Gareth Porter has laid out a point by point rebuttal of the entire case for war by the Obama administration. UN special investigator Carla del Ponti found the rebels the likely perpetrators of a chemical weapons attack in May of 2013. Obama and US intelligence twisted that reality into a pretext for direct U.S. involvement at the time and it worked so well they decided it would work at Ghouta on August 21 and used the attack as a pretext for US bombing and tomahawk missiles. And if that works they will use a phony rebel chemical attack again as a pretext for boots on the ground.
