When you're spending over $1billion dollars to put a train through by our lakes, what is a few $100 million more to make the trains as least disruptive as possible. I mean we can build a $1billion dollar stadium and have no idea how to fund it, why not get the best option for the homeowners and visitors in the area?

Is it really that important that we must reroute, tunnel, dig, move, destroy our current infrastructure just to put in this light rail line. Maybe it's just not feasible and shouldn't be done at this time.

vlcmpunk, Don't have the same attitude MNDOT has in putting in one lane knowing we'll need three in 15 years. People are using the trains and will continue to more and more. Minneapolis will be here in 50 years ya know.

I sincerely hope the City of MInneapolis, Hennepin County, the MInneapolis Park Board, and the MN DNR, will all block this train from going through the Kenilworth corridor. The number of trains going through this area daily is going to disrupt the Minneapolis parkway, and distress the natural habitat.

Run the light rail right down the middle of Hwy 394. Access from overpasses where park and ride already exists.
