As we turn the page on the preseason (thankfully), we’ll finally have a chance to gain some clarity on the Vikings’ various unknowns.

Winfield's available now. We can pick him up for a song and he can at least play back up. But in our lineup, he would probably get his old position back.

I like the direction Frazier has this team going and as soon as the owner settles his embarrassing situation he needs to throw some more of his money at Frazier. Frazier is about winning. That tends to calm a lot of other organizational problems and team question marks.

It will be interesting to see what we have now that the season has begun. We either can say the preseason is a joke if Ponder turns out great or we can say Ponder should have had much more work as he needed it. Not playing Peterson makes total sense. Not playing Ponder seems like a mistake, but we shall see

Frazier is about winning? Then what are the other coaches about in the NFL? I love listening to the Vikings media hype every year...only to be disappointed in the end. They've always had some great players...but really no team in the last 30 years. Always a Band-Aide with the Vikes. The ship is sinking so patch the hole mentality doesn't build a team or dynasty.

The key to a winning season is a QB who has savy, and quality skills. Minn. does not have that when they play Ponder.

It will become all too apparent this season that this coaching staff never addressed the issues at the quarterback position. All the excuses that we gave Ponder last year (no wide receivers) will fall apart and he'll be exposed for what he is -- average (when he plays his best). Sorry, seems like a nice kid, but let's finally be honest with ourselves and call spade is a spade. The disguise will come off this team after their first few games.. just watch.

All the work in the world is not going to make Ponder a quality starter. Spielman is using snake oil to try and convince the fans and the owners that Ponder is the chosen one. But proof will be in Ponders performance. Stay tuned...it is going to get ugly.

Winfield As A Secondary Coach How about hiring AW as a coach. If we lose a player in the secondary, we have someone that could play a part time roll until we find someone younger and better suited.

I love all the experts on here who already know that Ponder is terrible and we have no way to win the division. I, for one,am going to ENJOY THE SEASON!!

Kluwe has been cut by the Raiders. Mr. Untouchable couldn't get it done for one of the worst teams in the league. The Minnesota media, especially the Star Trib, tried to make him untouchable based solely on politics. Can we now accept the fact that Spielman made the right football decision for a position on a professional football team?
