Really does not matter who the Vikings have as WR's as long as Ponder is the QB. With Ponder as QB this team is DOA going into the season.

The only bigger joke than the WRs the vikings are attempting to overhype is the starting QB Ponder that will be throwing to this below mediocre bunch. Jenning has already won his Super Bowl ring (with another team no less), Simpson was run out of Cincy because he dropped too many balls and never lived up to anything (just like he has done here) Patterson played one meaningless year in college on a bad team. The vikings will no doubt end the season with the leagues worst passing attack (again) in regards to total TDs, average yards per catch, total yards and total catches. These bums have no chance to do anything but finish dead last in the NFC North Division where they belong.LOL!!!

Ponder needs to stop with his check down garbage. Trust your receivers once in a while to throw a back shoulder fade. If the receiver is not open by atleast 5 yards Ponder is checking it down. He had the 31st avg pass att only player worse was Gabbert.. Patterson, Webb and Jennings are tall enough to out jump defenders. Simpson is garbage and should have been cut in place of the youngster from Florida St. Smith..

Put MBT in the game with the best we got and let him fling it 60 yds. At least he has the kahunas to stay in the pocket and throw! 20 yrd TD passes will not get you to the dance.

So what kind of timeline do you put on improving accuracy? It's been two years, I haven't seen it yet. 3, 4, 5 years? I don't recall any one with a lousy arm all of a sudden becoming great. Maybe in college, but not in the pros.

There is no need to draft any other QB's for 3 or 4 years if Ponder proves he can't handle it. Look how many years Tarvaris Jackson was given!! Tarvaris was mush more popular with the fans. There are plenty of retread QB's available every year so the vikes can go with one of them if they can't see one on the draft board that they like. We've seen this pattern for decades. Retread QB's got them the divisional wins in 1998 and 2009. As one of the lowest revenue teams in the NFL the vikings can't afford a good QB AND make a profit for the owners. Profits come before quarterbacks.

Hmmm....we knew his accuracy was a problem in college, so let's pick him at #12 in the first round. And then keep insisting that he is making progress. Chidress couldn't ever admit that he made a mistake. Seems like it went full circle. How do these guys still have a job?
