Since the Fair tore up the racetrack, it's hard to trust anything they do.

Looking at the recent building projects, Miracle of Birth, International Bazaar and AgStar Arena plus all of the recent improvements to other existing buildings I am looking forward to see the changes.

I remember when the area that is Heritage Square was a teen area...don't remember the name...but this was in the late 1960's or early 1970's. They had music geared to the teens, evening rock and roll dances and I don't recall what else. My family would walk through to get from the parking lot to the main body of the fair, and I always wanted to stop and explore, but that wasn't on my Dad's radar. Then suddenly it was Heritage Square. That was my favorite place of the fair.

I always liked this area and I am in my twenties. Wish they had more museums at the fair, odd they don't.

Some things deserve to pass away...this is one of them.

Haven't visited it in decades but was going to this year to find a wooden sword...but the International Bazzar...ie Mexican Village ;-) had one carved out of oak and we went their first so missed it again. Kid loves it.

It was nice having a place at the fair where you could actually catch your breath and not be run over by a mob. So long, Heritage Square. I liked feeling like I'd found a little piece of the past buried at the fair.
