Minnesota suicide rate edges upward; higher in men, middle aged

ST. PAUL, Minn. — Minnesota's suicide rate has hit the highest point in a decade, health officials said Friday.

Look who has moved into MN over the past 10-years and I am suprised the rate is this low.

Unemployment high, people have quit looking and given up. especially older workers. Not much hope for some folks. Not much fun being alive if you don't have a dime to your name. not surprising at all.

"Minnesota's overall figures were inline with the nataional numbers." ____kind of flies in the face of those who have this inflated view of how exceptional it is to live here.
