Don't understand that subtitle, but WOO-HOO, the Vikings win a game and get off the Snide! Thank gawd Lock'n-walsh made the winning field goal and one of our Longhairs jumped on that fumble at the end to SEAL THE VICTORY! My favorite play was when Beth hit Barn Yard with that pass that he dove with into the end zone for a TOUCHDOWN ! ! ! SKOAL! ! !

Good thing we didn't mess with the great sure-thing field goal and punting game we had last year. Oh, wait. That wasn't Kluwe dropping all those holds? If only he would have taken a 'Birk' approach to the controversy last year, Spielman woulda kept him. Then we still would have had the best kicking tandem in the league. Great job, Ricky.

Is there really anything separating these QBs? MBT looks like he could do just as good of a job as Ponder. His play fakes are WAY better for sure. He just looks like he has more confidence and pocket presence. I know, I know, third stringers he was going against. But he was playing with them too. Would have been nice to see him play with the starters this pre-season.

It's too difficult to analyze MBT's performance tonight cause he didn't have AP in the backfield or even a game plan. Wait, never mind that's a Ponder excuse. My bad.

MBT and Sherels both deserve to make this team based on their raw talent and work ethic. Cassell and Webb's time has passes.

Bethel-Thompson should be the starting QB all year long. He's the best we've got.

You could try to sneak MBT into the practice squad and use Webb as a WR/QB3. I'd rather have Webb than Burton, honestly. I like Sherels, but he is average at best in the return game, and Felder is a much better cover corner than Sherels. Shame Felder got hurt - hope he's okay and makes the team. I would like to see what he can do inthe regular season as a PR.

Enjoy that 4 -12 season and paying for that all glass stadium and never winning a superbowl!

Interesting reading all the posts recently about MBT. Cassel looked better tonight. I honestly don't think that MBT could do any worse than Ponder, despite not having 2 years of uncontested starter experience. Honestly, how complex is the Ponder game, short low risk passes, a scramble here and there and hand the ball to AP. It seems a waste of talent to have any deep threat receivers.

Sorry, gowildcats, but Sherels is neither raw nor particularly talented. This is his third season with the team, and I think he also had one year on the practice squad. He's a try-hard guy, so it's hard not to like him, but he's always going to be a fringe player.
