Ooops, what's that? A structurally sound budget without a significant deficit for the first time in a decade? All day Kindergarten so we can compete with the schools in the east? AAAA, life is good in Minnesota.

"promise to snuff out inefficiencies in state government"... Yeah right, and e-tabs will pay for the Viking Stadium. At least put a credible agenda together.

Based on their actions they have no indication of doing anything like sniffing out inefficiencies. They are going to tax more as they have, spend more as they have, expand government more as they have, and introduce schemes that make taxation more regressive. If I was in Tsar none of them would be even making these false statements. I would hold them accountable for their acts against us and our state, and send them home first thing, 8:00 Monday morning. These people have quite the penance to make.

Not only do the Democrat legislators want higher taxes to fund a larger and more authoritarian government, now they want to mandate large automatic tax increases in the state constitution so the people have no say in the matter. The constitution was written by the people to tell the government what it is allowed to do. It is not an instrument to enforce the will of the DFL on the citizens.
