Have a taste for cornbread? Here's a corn-fed recipe

Some cornbread recipes are as sweet as cake. Others are as earnest as a preacher. We just wanted one that tasted deeply, clearly, sunburstingly of corn.

yes i like it but in the end, its just bread. man cannot live on bread alone

This cornbread is delicious. After 40 years of eating cornbread only to indulge me, my husband has been converted to a cornbread enthusiast. I suspect there will be corn in my CSA box tomorrow. I plan to make a couple of batches of the puree and freeze them so I can enjoy the corn goodness later in the fall.Thanks, Kim!
