gardenhire suddenly believes his players are hurt when they say they are hurt...what happened?

Didn't Joe go to the Mayo and got the all clear, the Twins got their nose out of joint because their crack staff, that mis-diagnosed Pavano,Baker, and countless other wasn't in on it, now Joe is out till who knows when, Gladden said tonight he's in a dark room at home, you say he's at the ballpark. What a joke organization, Who next to weigh in Dr.Morny.Terry Ryan your team is the laughing stock of MLB.

LMHANSONAug. 28, 1312:13 AM

This team is heading for another 90+ loss season so I think it would be best to simply shut down Joe the rest of the season and make sure he is 100% healthy heading into the offseason. Concussions are nothing to mess around with and can end careers. Ben Utecht and Corey Koskie both come to mind. Pierre Marc-Bouchard also missed a lot of games due to his concussion. I wish nothing but the best for Joe and his recovery. At the end of the day, he has a wife and two infant girls at home that need him more than he needs the game of baseball. I am probably in the minority, but hope the Twins do the right thing and sit him the rest of the year so he is 100% healthy heading into the offseason.

I agree with LMHANSON...sit Joe down the rest of the season to be on the safe side. You don't mess with a head injury, and it's a lost season anyway.

next year, stick Buxton out in right field and just let him play

tomfeldAug. 28, 13 6:55 AM

You are right. Shut him down for the rest of the season. Really doesn't matter. Twins are far below a .500 team with him and without him.

Any way we can get Bud into trying to contract this miserable franchise from our lives again?

The Twins, aware that Jamey Carroll now sits in the Royals dugout, have changed their signals for this three-game series — “which scares the living fire out of me,” Gardenhire said, “because we’re not that good at them regularly.”

Mauer will milk this, cause thats what he does. Twins will milk this, cause thats what they do; and Terry Ryan et all will use this as an excuse and say the season didnt finish they way they thought, but "injuries were not Gardenhire's fault"... therefore, Gardy will be back because ownership and Terry "love him"

First let me say, I'm a Mauer fan. Is Mauer overpaid? Absolutely, but so are hundreds of ballplayers. My biggest issue with Mauer is he seems to tell the team "when/where he plays", and "how long he wants to take off".
