There is camp "drill filler," and then there is the final roster. Minnesota always seems to have the edge in terms of numbers. Where they have fallen short is high quality, elite NHLers.

Watching these guys on the big sheet is a lot of fun. a lot more firewagon hockey on olympic ice. Personally Id love to see the NHL go to olympic sized ice, a lot more action. It's harder to play the boring trap/left wing lock on the big sheet. But the loss of seating, will get in the way of this ever happening. Thats too bad, because the NHL would be more exciting to watch and attract more fans, with more scoring. I'm hoping Parise will talk to Stepan about coming to Minnesota. The Rangers tendered a qualifing offer to the RFA Derek Stepan, he didnt sign it. Maybe he can stonewall the Rangers into trading him. wishful thinking I know, but Step would be a great add to the Wild lineup. Great skater, good for 18-20 goals a year, a solid Center. Go USA! Go Wild!
