After a year away, Jeff Erickson has returned to Minnetonka High School – this time as the school’s top administrator.

It always amazes me that these administrators started out as teachers because they felt that they had a calling to help students. Then they teach for a couple years and find out that they can't manage a classroom and see the big salaries that districts pay administration and off they go. How about making them go back into the classroom every three years and have them evaluated just like all the other teachers. The true teachers are the ones who are still there in the classroom after 25 years!

but you have to realize that many many teachers are always going back to further their education. Taking college classes, continuing their education even when they 'have a job' and could just rest on their laurels. Worked for a school district for almost 20 years. The teachers and almost all employees care. Down to the food service and even the the maintenance people. If you just really knew!
