Javier Sanchez is a common criminal in an uncommon position. He is exceptionally close to decisionmakers in our federal government. He's close enough to be held to a higher standard. He has betrayed a public trust. He is a public servant and a thief. That's not acceptable. Period. He should be barred from serving in a position close to any part of the government. he won't have trouble finding a private sector job, there are plenty for unethical and dishonorable people. Or perhaps he could choose 10,000 hours of community service. Remember, whatever he conned out of the plea bargain. He's guilty. He was caught on video tape.
