The Twins should make sure the third base prospect is ready before they bring him up.

Ok - how many times have we heard rookies say that their second time up was much different. Better. Because they got by their first time jitters, etc. Lets get his first time jitters out of the way in September, not next April.

Rand....quit polishing the twins management kitchen table. The twins are losing fans faster than they are losing games, which is miraculous . They better bring up young talent quickly before Target field sits as empty as the Metrodome did for years. At least the twins don't have to sweat being absolved with the new stadium they have....whew..lol

Not only is he not ready but he has yet to prove that he ever will be. If you can't hit .250 at AA, then you are not going to be successful in the majors. He would make Adam Dunn look like a good hitter if he was promoted this year. Power hitting should be secondary. Once he proves he can hit for average and not strike out so much, then his power numbers would be a huge bonus. Miguel Cabrera is so dangerous because he can hit for a high average and hit 40 plus home runs. I would love to see him be the Twins version of Cabrera but we definitely don't want the Twins version of Dunn clogging up the middle of the lineup even if he hits 40 HRs.

Leave Sano be , let him figure it out 1 level at a time, Besides if the Twins start losing fans and money , That is the only way we lose Ryan and Gardenhire....Money is the only thing the Pohlad boys understand ...Gee Terry we made 26 million in profits ,good job here is a bonus for cutting payroll

Bring him up in September. He can see how much he needs to develop and won't become awe struck when his real chance comes. Every year in the minors is a year of wasted production. This team needs a jolt in their lineup. We can live with the strikeouts as long as he shows power and RBI production.

I know a lot of people who have totally lost interest in the Twins. Like them the only way I would be interested in watching a game in Sept. is if some of the prospects, including Sano are playing. So what if he's not ready, they have several players in their lineup now who seemingly aren't ready.

I feel bad for the good prospects. Lots of pressure and expectations from an organization that doesn't spend money at the Major League Level. Sano and Buxton seem to have all the tools. Would really like to see the Twins help make them something other than opposite field hitters.

Miguel Sano hit .258 @ Beloit (Low A) and .330 @ Fort Myers (High A). With pretty much the same ABs between Fort Myers and New Britain, Sano is hitting fairly the same (Except Avg)against arguably alot better pitching.. I'D SAY HE'S DOING JUST FINE AT AA now that he's seen the pitching more than once. They are going to have to put Sano on the 40 man roster at some point anyway so Sept call up should be the way to go to get him a taste of MLB and lite a fire under him (You know it will)Take Escobar or Mastroiani off the 40 man and put Sano on... That would be this arm chair GMs move

Hendriks could be an ption to come off the 40 man as well
