Face it Twinks fans....there is no hope as long as Terry Ryan is sniffing around the bargin bin in hopes of fielding a contender. The Pohlads are laughing all the way to their bank. Keep buying those tickets, nothing will change....ever.....

72 losses and only 18 more to 90 it'd be a miracle if they don't lose 90 for third straight year...not so sure fans are buying tickets...you have to assume some are given away while others are season ticket holders who aren't showing up...they may have bought two years in advance...so haven't been there for two years and have tried to give them away...don't assume the Pohlads are making that much money funny how sid says when they/the owners are losing the money but when they are making it..he's mum....funny

Babe Dozier does it again with a HR and 2 RBI. Babe's season totals of 13 HR and 54 RBI in 425 AB eclipse those of our $23 million homeboy who has 11 HR and 47 RBI in 445 AB. Or, in other words, Babe has an RBI for every 7.9 AB, while our homeboy has an RBI for every 9.5 AB. Even our newbie, Herrmann has an RBI for every 6.6 AB. Over and out.

We have seen the Hendricks show before - in fact 24 times. He is maybe a AAAA pitcher, and probably a AAA pitcher. I realize that the Twins have no other options right now, so we might as well trot these types of pitchers out to mound every 5 days to eat up 4+ innings. Hopefully, the Twins see that Hendricks is not the future with these outings and let him go after the season.

norcal's right on the money. Not much else we can do here, folks. College football starts soon, the NFL to follow. The leaves will change, the lakes will freeze, and I will once again secretly hope that DirecTV will give me my money back for the MLB Extra Innings package I purchased.

Gardy, it's time to go. You are so dis-interested in this team you can't even hide it in the dugout or your post game babble. You can't even look into the TV camera when your being interviewed. If I were paying you, the millions you are getting paid and the effort you are putting in, you'd be gone before the game at noon today!!! And if you don't have the guts to leave, please stop hanging your arms over the dugout rail, you look like a fool!!

Well said, Woody. Only 19 to go to reach the vaunted 90 loss mark for the third year in a row.

Send this guy packing back to the minors where he belongs not facing major league hitters. Best batting practice pitcher on the roster.

A chilling realization: The Minnesota Twins ARE Liam Hendriks.

Don't fret Twins fans, you will be apparently witnessing the record shattering event at home this coming week with the Royals. The Twins Mgmt apparently is keeping everything tightlipped, but I expect some sort of promotion to rev up the faithful. The Twins are only 27 strikeouts away from breaking their all-time team record. With just one more away game and then 3 home games, there should be no doubt that the Twins will perform this feat in front of their fans. I wish Twins Mgmt would start letting everyone know what will be presented to the fans for this historic event.
