Good Samaritan duped by couple she fed, clothed in St. Paul

A 31-year-old Woodbury woman who “frequently” helps homeless people in St. Paul on her own was duped by a couple she fed and clothed, according to police.

It's commendable that she wants to help, but dragging your 5-year-old kid along doesn't sound too safe (or smart). Especially when you're by yourself.

Who said that tablet is worth $650? She probably stated that for insurance purposes, but a brand new one from Samsung's website is only $320. And if she was really ok with the theft, then why report it?
