After spending the 2012 season on the practice squad, Bobby Felder is using each moment on the field to impress.

I heard Felder refuses to get his hair cut because everytime he does he overshoots the split end on a curl

Felder is the backup slot corner. He's being looked at as a gunner in punt coverage. He's being looked at as a punt returner. He's also a 5'11" and 195 lb corner that can run a 4.42 40 yard dash. Those are respectable numbers for an outside corner. I will be shocked if he does not make the 53 man roster.

I guess we don't get hair jokes. I'm sure a few stylists may get it but they aren't reading football articles.

Wow ! Tough crowd. Good joke KR. I think that Felder should make the team, and take Sherels roster spot. Sherels has not really stood out at all this pre season. Felder has made the plays every time he has been in the game. You can't judge Felder on how good he is . right now, in slot, or outside coverage. This will come with more reps. If that was the case, Sherels would be long gone, based on his coverage skills. GO VIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kenny I laughed, I cried, it became a part of me. Some fans need to lighten up. It's always nice to see the home state boy make it on the Vikings. But it's a cutthroat business. But I would hope come cutdown day one will be a Viking and one will get a shot someplace else. Just as the Vikings will be looking for upgrades as well.

Bud Grant would have that kid either getting a Hair Cut or packing his locker... nuff said... Our BEST QUARTERBACK is Bethel-Thompson, McLeod JUST WATCH... Frazier will cut him....Keep Webb because he don't know what else to do with him (in clique) and we are stuck with Ponder just like Childress pet project with T-Jack...and we all know how well that worked out ...Grrrrr. WAKE UP... Play the BEST .... CUT THE REST ....

If he can cover better than Sherels (which wouldn't be hard at all) he should take his roster spot.
