Not a conflict, but an opportunity to learn

Can you help me understand and appreciate it?’ The kid becomes the authority and the parent is saying, ‘I want to be part of your new world.’ It’s a supportive statement rather than a critical statement.” What a bunch of hooey. Anti social behavior results from the perception that life is unfair". The adolescent starts to realize that life is full of skin problems, that people have different appearances and abilities that will make them more successful than themselves and that they will have to work long hours to make a living rather than be supported by their parents. That is why they listen to anti social music and why the music is written and performed.
