AUSTIN, Texas — U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz said Monday that he will renounce his Canadian citizenship.

How do we know it isn't fake? We should send a delegation to the Canadian hospital to interrogate the nurses. Maybe Donald Trump could pay for it.

"Tea Party favorite"? The birther movement came out of not questioning whether Obama's mother was from the US, but rather whether or not he was actually born on US soil in HI. Cruz readily says he was born in Canada, yet remains a Tea Party hot candidate for the 2016 presidential race. Hm. Something doesn't add up. If the birthers didn't want Obama disqualified for their stated reason of birth location, what's the real reason for the hate?

I don't think this guy can be president. There's just too many questions about his background and citizenship. We would be better off with Michelle Bachmann. Oh sorry. She's Swiss.
