Lapointe appeal among high-profile cases to be considered by Connecticut Supreme Court

HARTFORD, Conn. — The case of a brain-damaged man who had his conviction in the 1987 killing of his ex-wife's 88-year-old grandmother overturned on appeal and was awarded a new trial is one of the high-profile cases the Connecticut Supreme Court will hear when it returns from summer break next month.
