This is infuriating. What they're not telling your is that the hotels are setting minimum temps well above what many consider comfortable and that their motion sensors are NOT effective or accurate. I cannot tell you how many times I've awakened in the night soaked in perspiration on account of these infernal devices. When I'm paying a hotel $150 a night I darn well ought to be able to set the room temp where I find it comfortable.
