If they play just highlights, they'll overtake ESPN in a matter of minutes.

We want Speed back. Do not need another stick & ball channel, plus MMA, UFC, Soccer. WE who love motorsports are loosing the only channel that offer more than NASCAR, F1 & IndyCar. Again, we want Speed Channel not FoxSports1

ESPN has been absolutely horrendous and unwatchable since the late 90's for countless reasons. I don't care for any channel with the word Fox in it, but it can't be any worse.

What a stupid move. What were they thinking...Why mess with a good thing! SPEED has (had) a good thing going now they messed it up. If they wanted a new channel just make a new one and leave Speed alone. Now much of the programming is changing and its messed up. Probably the last of the channels I actually wanted a dish for, now that it's gone, say bye to the dish too!.........IDIOTS!!!!

What stinks is that I don't have cable and I enjoy watching golf. Now I can't even watch the US Open anymore for free. It stinks. No, I'm not paying to watch TV, so I'll just have to watch the other two Majors (the British Open is broadcast on ESPN) on free tv.

Don't worry SPEED fans, there will be plenty of NASCAR included in the mix at Fox Sports 1. But then, NASCAR fans don't like to "share" and resent seeing anyone who doesn't look like they do. The bigger concern about FS1 is what impact it might have on its regional sports channels and the possibility that FOX could find it more profitable to pull its NFL games off its over-the-air network affiliates and either move FS1 to a higher-cost premium channel on cable or even pay-per-view. I bet Qbiker goes dumpster diving so he doesn't have to pay for food.

A new startup cable sports network that has soon to be 82 year old Regis Philbin among its "talent"? Oh yeah, that makes me want to tune in right away.

No longer having to listen to Chris Berman, Keith Olbermann, Lou Holtz, etc? I'll give the new channel a try, but I'm not real excited about Regis.

Whoopee! Another channel devoted to kid's ball games. Is there no end?

Ernest Hemingway said it best. "There are only three sports, bull fighting, mountain climbing and auto racing. Everything else is a game".
