"Nothing is perfect. But the fact is, I think we’ve done everything we can.’’ Selig stole that quote from the captain of the Titanic. MLB had a huge hand in creating this embarrassment and now 10-12 years later...Selig wants his legacy to read that he cleaned up the mess....what a crock.

The farce continues! Testing did not catch these individuals, a loose lip did. To claim their testing caught anyone is not even logical, or are we expected to believe the only cheater just all happened to be linked to Biogenisis? Plus what player is going to have the nerve to back a cheater by admitting this is a regular occurrence. Not to mention hat foreign players get to develop using PEDs but ours do not? Technology has always gone hand in hand with sports and though I have been an out spoken critic of them till recently, I have come around to the belief it is unavoidable as there hasn't been a reliable testing program any where ever. So they can claim it is the best, but then explain how it was so few and all from the same circle of Biogenisis clients? I can, it is all a dog and pony show.

Let's suspend first-time offenders without pay for 2 years, and have their contracts voided. Second-time: ban for life. Make the rules as tough as for Olympics athletes, not a weak-sister invitation to try to cheat and only get a wrist slap if caught. Right now, it is still a joke and the union is defending lying cheaters without regard to the harm they cause to honest players.
