WASHINGTON — A new massive federal study says the world in 2012 sweltered with continued signs of climate change. Rising sea levels, snow melt, heat buildup in the oceans, and melting Arctic sea ice and Greenland ice sheets, all broke or nearly broke records, but temperatures only sneaked into the top 10.

More extreme weather, rising seas, and escalating risks to our health. That's what we can expect as climate change gets worse. http://clmtr.lt/cb/vWM0bIV AND IT COSTS SO MUCH MONEY to pay for these super-storms. Carbon pollution puts the weather on steroids. It greatly increases our risk of extreme weather like heavy storms, droughts, and heat waves. http://clmtr.lt/cb/vUH0bIV If you don’t believe that Supreme Court ruling that carbon dioxide is a pollutant, take a look at how climate change impacts our weather and our health. http://clmtr.lt/cb/vWu0bIV BUT THERE IS HOPE! Renewable energy is already reliable, and new battery storage technology will make it perform even better. Best of all? It doesn’t pollute the climate. http://clmtr.lt/cb/vV50bIV The claim that renewable energy is too expensive is out-of-date propoganda. http://clmtr.lt/cb/vW70bIV And that is just the thing - it IS profitable to save the World. Look at China - they are in the Green Energy game and leading the way! How is that possible? Don't we WANT to be the leaders and innovators that World believes we are? Don't we WANT to keep our country safe by creating energy independence? Don't we WANT to not have to spend $65 BILLION on ONE storm called Sandy? It is real, and those who say it isn't are dangerous. http://clmtr.lt/cb/vWG0bIV Dangerous to America. Dangerous to our National Security. Dangerous to our Innovation and Status in the World. Just ask 97% of the top climate scientists and every major National Academy of Science in the world. It is Real. Let's Drop Some Reality. http://clmtr.lt/cb/vWH0bIV
