Sure glad we righted the ship during the Astros series! Can we be done with the Gardenhose experiment now?

This game was a great example of Major League Team (Royals) playing a AAA team (Twins and/or Astros). Looking forward to seeing the next-gen Twins come up. Not looking forward to remainder of 2013 season.

OMG, I've been a--AM-- diehard fan since I was nine (back in 1969. These are, and always will be, my TWINS. Whether I call them my Twinkies, as in 80-86, or my Twins--when I took my 75 year old mom to the 1987 World Series. But When Jamey Carroll can pitch a one-two-three better than our starting pitchers? As my pop used to say.. "When things aren't gittin' done, it's usually because someone isn't doing their job"... Also, when Bernier has the 2nd hightes batting avg in the batting order... something is gravely amiss... Yes, I still love my Twinkies...

Disgusting performance by this team but hey, what did you expect? Until Gardy and Andy are let go and the Pohlads open up their wallet for a change this team is going nowhere.

One more case of a starting pitcher left in too long by Gardy so the opponents start out in the second inning with a 6-0 lead Jamie Carroll should start the next game. Three up three out in the eighth. Go Jamie.

Let's see......they can't pitch and they can't hit. Enough said.

I actually think Gardy should have made it mandatory for Corriea to throw 100 pitches tonight.

I heard on K-Twin's pregame how the Twins were extra motivated to make up for their poor play in the Royals series at Target Field. No one mentioned how motivated the Royals would be to pick up a game on either Detroit or Cleveland. Looks like playing to get into wild card contention is a better motivator than trying to show you don't suck.

Anyone else tired of this pitch to contact nonsense? I say don't sign any pitcher who can't throw 90+mph. Let's try that for a few years.
