Gladden actually said "wonder if the boys had righted the ship" or of it just because of the Astros. Really???

Who cares if they swept the Astros. They are Triple A team. Glad to see Arcia back. He and Duduno at least show some emotion and make a fan think they care. Yeah I am talking about you Plouffe!!!

The Twins are simply the best of the worst. They barely squeaked by Houston in the series, any other team playing anywhere near .500 ball would have swept the Twins. The way Pelfrey pitched today against anyone else he'd have been gone before the third inning. More likely than not...KC will sweep them again starting tomorrow. Cut all the crap about this team...people flock to Target Center like they're cattle being driven. Pathetic.

Regarding "The Twins hadn't swept a series, or won three games in a row, since June 18-20 against the Chicago White Sox." The Twins won four games in a row on July 13 and 14 (against the Yankees before the All-Star break) and July 19 and 20 (against the Indians after the All-Star break). Perhaps the author meant to say that the Twins hadn't won three games in a row *against the same team*?

It's pretty easy to see why Houston is 36-74, yet, they should have won at least two games here against the Twins." Bring on the White Sox?" I'm not sure the Twins can beat them on the road. This is a really bad team, led by a tenured manager that doesn't have a clue and counts on a pitching coach that has been over-rated and touted by the organization because he's Gardenhire's buddy.

I've changed my mind about this team... They are competitive, exciting and fun to watch! If anyone can lead the Twins to victory over those Royals it's Gardy, Ryanie and Bremy!

We are season ticket holders, we were at games this weekend, and it is fun. Are we going to the World Series...NO. But we have lots of fun watching baseball. And evidently so do the near-sell-out crowds this weekend. Important to us... We have a "clean cut" team and not the Yankees or A-Rod. Go Twins!
