Gibson is not the answer - maybe Liriano was?

What's gotten into Dozier, lately?!?! I like it. You don't suppose it could be contagious, do you? Then again, it's Houston, but we can hope, can't we?

Chein1Aug. 3, 1310:23 PM

Thank you Houston. Was at the game ... great crowd and lots of energy. Sellout crowd with record walk up sales I heard. Feels like a State Fair almost ... most people are walking around and enjoying the atmosphere. I'd guess only 2/3 people actually in their seats and less than that watching the game lol.

Liriano? Really?

thome2011Aug. 3, 1311:21 PM

Send Gibson back down to get some more innings. Hopefully he'll be ready to contribute next year.

I had a free ticket... it was perfection outside. Maybe it was sadistic of me, but I had fun making fun of any Twin that flailed at the plate, and all the Astros. Its baseball. Somehow forgot for a few hours that we were a horrible team, playing a horrible team. I was a kid again. Maybe thats why we keep coming to the ballpark. James Earl Jones was right: people will come.

Wait. A season-long outcry from "the fans" for Gibson, and now he's not the answer? Could "the fans" have been wrong?

BallFourAug. 4, 1312:31 AM

Dozier? Hicks' demotion probably reminded him that he was Aaron Hicks, 2012. Probably isn't looking for a second late summer of AAA at-bats.

Gibson another overrated Twins many have they had? Too know why Oakland can have a low payroll and compete? because they develop quality pitching..must have the best scouts in the business...Twins sure don't..

lindy_frank123Aug. 4, 1312:51 AM

"most people walking around"? what has happened to don't come to see the game? what a waste...not me...I want to see the can visit anywhere
